Want some free advertising? To thousands of people? Hundreds of potential customers? All for virtually nothing?
Want an easy way to gain credibility and get more respect?
Get in your local paper.
Anyone can start an online blog or an electronic newsletter.
But to be in actual paper? Actual physical paper? Which will still ALSO be posted online?
That says something about who you are.
Respectable and important. Credible, a part of the community.
Someone to trust. The best way to do that is to tell the paper that you’ve got some news.
Could be anything, moving to a new, bigger office.
Hiring a member of staff. Having a special sale.
Find whatever the reason and then write a press release.

The great thing about local papers is that they don’t always have a lot to report on and would love some extra content and you can help and make it easy for them.
I don’t know about where you live but not much goes on where I live.
Yesterday I saw some geese flying over head.
Saw the local reporter chasing them asking for a quote.
Just make sure you’ve got a clean shirt on when they take your photo.
